Technology has changed my classroom experience for the better because it's made learning easier to access and I think it's more personalized so it's better for working at your own pace. One of the best things about technology is the internet. With phones, computers, and iPads, I can google something in a second and find things that I want to look at. This gives me a change to deeper my education and learn more about things I like and go for things in school at a higher level when I'm not there. A specific example of how technology has impacted me and my education is the time when I participated at Chicago State University in a dual enrollment program for high schoolers. Being apart of the program, I was able to get a free computer from AT&T and the university. I still currently use this computer in school to go to my online college classes and do my homework. Getting this computer gave me a lot of freedom cause now I didn't have to rely on school devices. It made doing my work better and gave me a responsibility to make sure I take care of it. Being able to work with my own devices has given me more time to search for scholarships, schools, and information about my career.
