In recent years, technology in the classroom has become more and more common. In school, instead of just paper assignments, many of my assignments were on a chromebook. Son enough, when I reached middle school, almost every assignment I had was online. While technology can have its drawbacks, I think that it is easier than just paper assignments. Its quicker, gives you more tools to help you learn, and its harder to lose progress, as most online mediums save your progress and ensure it won’t be lost.
Using technology in the classroom gives us hundreds more resources for learning and completing assignments. Grammarly is one example. It is a very popular application that helps you write essays and ensures you have proper grammar, and gives you suggestions to improve your writing. Another online resource is Google, the most used online site. Using search engines gives us access to thousands of different resources to better improve our work.

Now, I am homeschooled. Due to this, all of my classes and assignments must be done online. Therefore, technology is vital for me to be able to continue my education. If the internet or a site I use for school is down, then I have no choice but to wait for it to work again. Without technology, I wouldn’t be able to learn the things that I am learning.
