Growing Through Feedback by Frannelis - August 2026 Scholarship Essay

During my time in nursing school, notes taught me the most. I'm enrolled in software for the second time, and I realize that if I'm going to benefit from it, I need to approach my studies in a unique way. My teachers gave positive complaints at some stage in clinical assignments about how I could clear my prescriptions more slowly, talk to patients with extra reassurance, and give more compelling reasoning for my nursing choices.

I worked hard and wanted to do well, but it was hard to hear that I had to do it right first. But I realize that criticism has now become so that I don't have to be demoralized. Rather, it would make me a safer extra informed destiny nurse. Instead of concentrating on my mistakes, I began to invite questions, seek feedback from my teachers, and incorporate their recommendations into my upcoming therapy day or mission.

I saw a significant improvement in my overall performance and confidence while continuing to use my tunes. I continued with my preparation, employer, and light handling of victims. I have also learned that making mistakes is an important part of learning, especially in the nursing field, because each visit provides valuable knowledge. I was able to acknowledge the complaints and detail each one in my opinion and academically.

With the help of these experiences, my study habits have changed. I now see the comment as a threat to get higher as opposed to complaining. This taught me to keep an open mind, compare my overall performance, and never give up on improvement. Since healthcare is a job where knowledge is by no means finished and a willingness to improve is essential to providing patients with the greatest care, I believe this technique will benefit me at some stage in my nursing career.
