The study strategies or learning methods that has had the greatest impact on my academic success are what I called the lock in method and the day by day method. For the lock in method I would go into a quiet place and set a time for three hours. This is in interrupted time that I would use to focus on my school work. During the day by day method I would check the due dates on my assignments and work on the ones due sooner first. But my work would be spread out for four days. By the fifth day I would just be checking my work before submitting it. These methods worked because they allowed me to be able to spend time with my daughters and focus on my full time job. While getting my work done on time and maintaining honors. These strategies allowed me to carefully evaluate my work and ensure I was answering all of the questions correctly and without errors. I used these methods throughout all four years of my studies for my bachelor’s degree in healthcare administrations. I was able to even recommend them to my classmates. Who in which utilized these methods and thanked me for telling them about them.
