Aspirations by Dejiah - August 2025 Scholarship Essay

Some of my aspirations for this school year include maintaining all A's, or if not, all B's. I also want to keep a well over 3.0 GPA, as well as being involved on campus. I hope to maintain a consistent schedule that allows me to complete all my work without worrying. I also plan to network to potentially create a path to a job in my career. I plan on having a good relationship with my professors just to make a good first impression and to let the professors know that there is someone in the class who is happy and dedicated to being there. With a good GPA and excellent grades, I believe the only way to achieve this is by keeping God by my side at all times, which is another aspiration of mine. I want to maintain a great relationship with God so that I can make all these aspirations come to light. And the main thing that motivates me to do all of this is the fact that Clark Atlanta University is my dream school. So, the fact that I have 4 years at my dream school, I wouldn't want to mess up a great opportunity as well as the want of being at an HBCU or somewhere where I want to be.
