Technology has positively impacted your classroom experience by Daeshawn - November 2025 Scholarship Essay

I think technology can have a negative impact on the classroom experience when it’s not used correctly and used just to scroll or be distracted. On the other hand, I think technology has positively impacted my classroom experience in a good amount of ways throughout these past couple school years. Let me give you some personal context. A couple years ago the school stopped giving us computers to bring home to do work and around that time they also started being very strict on the phone policy, so right before the next school year started up, I bought an iPad to be able to help me with school. It’s been the best technological investment I’ve made so far, especially since we are in school most of the year. I have been able to work on my online assignments, do work outside of school or anywhere with connection in the area. I can study whenever I get the chance and use it to help with research in class or even with taking quick notes when it’s needed. It’s become an essential part of things I use in school now and I’m happy that I have it too because when the technology is used right in school it’s very helpful to me and my learning which leads me to say it leaves a positive impact on my learning experience.
