Technology has genuinely made my classroom experience better in ways I did not fully recognize until recently. One of the biggest changes for me has been staying organized. Having assignments, notes, and due dates online keeps everything in one place, which makes school feel a lot less chaotic. I am not constantly digging through notebooks or worrying that I misplaced something important. It helps me stay on track without feeling overwhelmed.
Technology has also made learning easier, especially when I need information explained in several ways. I do not always understand a lesson the first time I hear it, so having videos, online examples, or recorded lectures I can revisit makes a dramatic difference. It lets me learn at my own pace and gives me a chance to really understand the material instead of just trying to keep up. This helped me a lot during covid when it was harder to reach your teacher to ask questions. I took voice recordings a lot during my 7th grade math class which I think helped me pass the class. I now have taken up to college level math classes.
A specific example of this is in my psychology class. We learn a ton of vocabulary and theories, and it is easy to get lost without a good study method. Using Quizlet has honestly been a game changer. I make flashcards for every chapter, and the quick review sessions, matching activities, and practice quizzes help me memorize terms so much faster. I can study on my phone between classes, and I have noticed that my confidence and test scores in psychology have improved a lot because of it.
Technology has also helped with communication. Being able to message teachers when I am confused or need help makes me feel supported even outside of class. And for group projects, shared documents make it easy for everyone to contribute without trying to meet up at the same time.
Overall, technology has not replaced learning it has improved it. It keeps me organized, helps me understand lessons better, and gives me tools that support the way I learn. My classroom experience feels more manageable and more engaging because of it.
