If I were running for student body president, the number one way I would hope to positively impact my school would be by improving communication between students and the school community. To begin with, I would focus on listening to students. Many students have useful ideas about how to make school life better, yet they often do not know where to share these ideas. Therefore, I would organize regular student meetings where anyone could express concerns or suggestions. These meetings would give students a comfortable space to speak. In addition, I would send out digital surveys to allow students who cannot attend meetings to still contribute their opinions.

Furthermore, it would be important to show students that their suggestions matter. A student government cannot earn trust unless it responds to the voices of the school. Because of this, I would create a monthly update that explains the main concerns raised by students and the actions being taken in response.
