My demeanor as a tutor includes patience, focus, and a vested interest in the success of my students. Broadly speaking, my academic background includes an undergraduate degree in sociology and a master's degree in economics.

I'm comfortable tutoring economics courses through the college undergraduate level. I am also proficient in mathematics through calculus I. I have also become the go to statistics tutor. Go figure. I'm pretty good at it and most people hate it. I'm happy to help. Students conquer this difficult subject.

I'm a writer of fiction so it's my pleasure to tutor students in English grammar, English literature, creative writing, etc

I'm currently improving my fluency in Spanish.

I have a 21 year old son who struggled with extreme ADHD as young student. He is now a senior at University of Denver and he has flourished. My experience and knowledge gained through supporting my son gives me a level of empathy for students who may be dealing with similar challenges.

My hobbies include guitar, yoga, mountain biking, running, travel and taking care of my 7.5 year old pug.
