I am a graduate of the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign. I completed my Master's of Business Administration. Prior to that I attended the University of Washington, where I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Starting before I completed my Bachelor's, I have been working with students to demystify learning. I have volunteered my time to help teenagers in underserved communities prepare for ACT and SAT testing. I also worked with small groups of elementary school students who were identified as performing below their grade levels. I am a firm believer in teaching a student how they learn. Each student is different and requires a different approach and a tutor must be flexible to be effective.
