I am a graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA in History and a minor in Education. I have been an educator for 30 years, both in the classroom and in administration, specifically in Business Management and Admissions/Enrollment. I have my MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. I love working with students of all ages! I am patient, kind, and warm, and can help ease a student's anxiety about math (at levels up to Algebra II) and writing. I am especially skilled at helping students understand how to craft essays for both school assignments and for college applications. I love the written word - grammar, spelling, punctuation, creative writing, and syntax. I also love the rules and clarity of math, and enjoy sharing that with my students. I believe that all children want to learn and succeed, and there are many different paths to a child's understanding of a difficult topic. In my free time, I enjoy walking my Bernese Mountain Dog, Kaiser, playing the piano, knitting, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and reading.
