I earned a bachelor of science in economics at the University of Pennsylvania and did my MBA and PhD coursework in economics and finance at Arizona State University.

I have the following degrees:

MBA in Finance, ASU, 1979
PhD (all but dissertation), ASU, 1985

I have had over forty years of experience teaching and tutoring, as well as other roles such as Boy Scoutmaster, Little League coach and youth pastor.

My favorite subjects to tutor are mathematics, especially statistics. It is a crucial, practical skill that many students overlook.

My teaching type is patient, caring, goals-focused.
