I am student at the University of Central Florida. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, and minor in science. I have nine years of experience tutoring 6th graders to college students. I strive to make sure my students not only get the grade, but truly understand the material. Having my students teach me the topic afterwards shows me that they are ready to move on. I love roller coasters, sports, baking, dancing, traveling, and most important family time. Math is everywhere in the world and I like to incorporate it into my lessons. I believe my experience, my love for math, and my genuine want to help is what makes me a great tutor. I strive to make sure the student truly understands the material, not accepting "kind of" as "yes, I understand". I tend to ask what the students what their hobbies are so that I may relate the problem to their own lives. I found that this technique is a real winner.
