I am a graduate of the University of Kansas and West Texas A&M University. I earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at KU. My masters degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies (Management, Economics & Speech) and my undergraduate degree is in Marketing, both are from WTAMU.

I am currently in my second year at the University of Kansas. I am majoring in secondary history and government education and minoring in art history. I'm a Ph.D. candidate in French Studies at UCLA finishing my dissertation about contemporary French literature. My main research specializations are French language and literature. However, I also have a certification in critical theory and conduct research in cultural studies and music history. I have taught first- and second-year French classes at UCLA for four years, and before that, I taught first-year French for 3 years at the University of Kansas.

I'm happily married (upcoming 4 years in June) and enjoy time with my cat (as well as my wife of course). I look forward to teaching my students something new and hope to make the experience memorable and exciting.
