I'm not outdoors, I'm usually reading, watching TV, or going to the movies. There's nothing like fresh buttered popcorn, right? My favorite film and novel genres include graphic novels, comedies, film noir, Shakespeare, mystery, and horror. I have learned there are so many great ways to explore language and know that having a command of the language will benefit any career path. Allow me to show you how.

I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening and family time.

I am comfortable teaching are mathematics, chemistry and Spanish. Out of these subjects mathematics is my favorite to teach because of the logic found in the subject. I find it fascinating how, in mathematics, topics work towards a unifying theme.

I am an incoming first year medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. I am a native Mandarin speaker, and I got both MD and PhD degree from one of the top 20 universities in China. I've also passed the "national proficiency test of mandarin" when I was in college.
