About Me

I've spent years helping students build confidence in their academic abilities, and I take a practical, student-focused approach to learning. My experience as a paraprofessional gave me the opportunity to work with students of all backgrounds, adjusting my methods to fit their needs and making tough subjects more approachable. I tutor math, reading, writing, science, and history at various levels, but I have a particular passion for reading and writing conventions. There's something satisfying about helping students turn their thoughts into clear, structured ideas. My tutoring style is straightforward: I focus on patience, engagement, and adaptability. I tailor each session to the student, making sure they not only understand the material but also build the confidence to tackle it on their own. My goal isn't just to improve gradesit's to help students develop skills they'll use beyond the classroom. Outside of tutoring, I spend my time reading, writing, and producing music, all of which feed into my teaching style. Creativity and curiosity make learning more effective, and I try to bring that into my sessions. At the end of the day, I want students to walk away not just knowing more, but feeling like they get itand that they're capable of handling whatever comes next.
