About Me

I am so excited to be working as a tutor! As a lifelong learner who has sought tutoring and mentorship throughout my own time as a student, I love to work with students and give them the tools to become strong learners, problem solvers, and most importantly, collaboration-seekers. I am a recent college graduate (B.S. in Geoscience and B.A. in Environmental Studies) with tutoring experience in Reading, Writing, Excel, Math, Science, Geoscience and Environmental Science. I enjoy working with students of all ages, and I have three years of experience as a Geoscience Teaching Fellow at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. In this role, I received formal training in various teaching and learning pedagogies designed to fit varying student needs and learning styles. I've also TA'd for several Introduction to Meteorology courses, mentored students in a first year seminar related to Climate Change Science, and I participated in reading and writing tutoring for an America Reads program. I am willing and ready to tutor for the SAT (1470 composite score) and I have experience coding statistical analyses in R and using Excel!
