A truly effective math tutor is someone who makes students feel seen, heard, valued, and respected while also helping them build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine understanding of mathematical concepts. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I bring over five years of university-level teaching experience and four years of experience teaching math and algebra to elementary, middle, and high school students. I have successfully mentored students with a wide range of abilities, from those who struggle with foundational concepts to advanced learners who want to sharpen their skills. My approach focuses on identifying knowledge gaps, strengthening fundamentals, and guiding students step-by-step toward mastery and independence.
