I completed my undergrad in Elementary Education at Arlington Baptist University. During my senior year, I tutored struggling students in both math and reading. I was able to see the students learn and grow tremendously from small group/1:1 tutoring. I began teaching 2nd grade in 2013 and became passionate about helping students succeed in math and literacy. I started tutoring my students before and after school and had 90% of my class end the year at or above grade level in both reading and math. I had a desire to learn more ways to help students so I went on the complete my masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am confident that every students can succeed! My goal is to help bridge the gap for struggling students and also help students who are at grade level continue to flourish.

I love to travel and learn about new cultures! I also love camping with my family and friends. Most of the time you'll find me going on adventures with my 3 boys. We always have fun together!
