Since graduation I have spent time teaching in public and private school classrooms, for a total of 13 years, have taught with homeschool cooperatives and homeschooled my own children for 5 years, and have recently earned a Master's in Theological Studies. I have a passion for learning and love to pass that along to my students. My most favorite subjects are math and English. I love the way that math is logical and follows an order of operations. English is interesting to me because I am an author and I love using words to describe what I want to communicate.

When I am not teaching, I love to read books, especially murder mysteries, solve jigsaw puzzles, crochet, knit, and play piano. I have also dabbled in acrylic painting and calligraphy for fun. I LOVE to learn new things every day!
