About Me

I am a graduate of Texas State University- San Marcos. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a focus on Advertising and Media Studies. Since graduation, I have received my alternative teacher certification from ITeachTexas. I have been teaching special education to elementary students in all grade levels. Being a special education teacher has allowed me to better understand how individuals learn and to teach in a manner that allows success. My background with exceptional learners and my passion to educate has allowed me to have a better understanding of how to link the bridge between special education and general education through a collaborative process. I believe all students can learn!
