About Me

I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Finance and a focus on Music Recording. I've tutored math(algebra, Pre-calc, calc) English, Chinese, vocal, and college applications mostly to friends and families. As a tutor, I like to get to know my students first, with their personalities, their preferred learning methods, and their goals from taking lessons with me; and build my future lessons from there. For the past few years, I have worked as a TA at Rutgers University Chinese department as a native Chinese speaker, and I strive to better my student's skills in Chinese, by improving their speaking skills, giving them tips on how to better use tones, and also tactics on memorizing hard vocabularies. I always strive to make my lessons fun, and I try to cover the parts that are less focused on in class, such as speaking skills, so I can improve my students in all areas. I've also had extensive experience in tutoring my friends, who are mostly international students, with their papers in college writing classes. I also offer help on math subjects, since math has always been my strongest subject. As a vocalist, who also raps, I tutored my friends, who had trouble with singing in tune, on music projects.
