About Me

I have been an educator for 17 years. I have worked overseas and in three different states across the United States. I have worked as a 3-5 classroom teacher, reading interventionist and after school program director for mathematics intervention. Recently I earned my Doctorate from Arizona State University in education with an emphasis in creating social learning opportunities to build students' social and emotional skills in mathematics. I believe that all students are capable of success at all levels of learning. I endeavor to help all of my students develop high levels of academic, social and emotional growth through relationship building, goal setting and celebrating milestones.
