As an experienced educator with over two decades of teaching and tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from The Ohio State University in 1999 and went on to complete my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in 2002. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of positions, including classroom teacher (third, fifth, sixth, and eighth grades), executive function skills coach, K-12 tutor, and homeschool evaluator. I hold professional certifications in Elementary Education and Social Science (Grades 6-12) and my diverse background allows me to connect with students of all ages and learning styles. I believe that every student is unique, and I personalize each tutoring session to address individual needs, using a combination of informal assessments, feedback, and observation to adjust my instruction as needed. I take great pride in guiding learners through challenges and celebrating their achievements. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and empowered to succeed.
