About Me

I'm a soon-to-be grad of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, where I've studied with a focus on writing, particularly creative non-fiction. I've also long been in love with literature and film, and have studied both at school and on my own. Last year, I took a Spanish course at my college on Cuban Literature and Film after 1959 (the year of the Cuban Revolution), which was enlightening on many levels. Having lived in Latin America for three years, I am fluent in Spanish. When I'm not reading, writing, or watching movies, I like to listen to music and hang out in the city with my friends. I'm hoping to be an MFA candidate at Columbia in the fall of 2018.
