About Me

Hi! My name is Daniel. I have been tutoring the reading comprehension, writing/verbal, and essay sections of the SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE for over 4 years now. I also offer academic tutoring and essay assistance. I graduated Cum Laude from NYU in 2012 and have been tutoring ever since. I am originally from Boston, MA.I enjoy making my tutoring sessions fun and engaging so that I can best motivate my students. I work with my students on a highly personalized basis, and I pride myself on being able to identify their strengths and weaknesses so that I can tailor my teaching style to meet their specific needs. I have been very successful with my previous and current students, helping them to significantly increase their grades, test scores, and self-confidence levels. I also help students with their applications for middle school, high school, and college, many of whom have received thousands of dollars in scholarship. In my free time, I enjoy writing songs, playing guitar and piano, and going for a run in the park with my black Labrador retriever, Scout. In high school, I was the captain of my football and wrestling teams, so I really connect and empathize with students who have busy after-school schedules. I am always looking forward to working with new students and their families and helping those students to reach their potential.
