I recently completed an MA in French Studies from New York University, following an MA in European Union Studies and a BA with High Distinction in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, including standardized test prep, English, and French, but my favorites to work with are History and writing. The study of History is my passion, and there are few things that I enjoy more than getting the opportunity to share this passion with others. I also have experience in providing peer reviews and constructive critiques in graduate level writing in multiple fields. Coming from a family of teachers, education has always been a central value in my life, and I try to use this love of learning to help create the best experience I can for my students. I believe that every tutoring session should be built around the interests and learning styles of the student to ensure that they not only learn, but hopefully come to enjoy it too. Outside of academics, I usually fill my time with reading, playing video games, exercising, and cooking.
