Learning Chinese has become an integral part of my college experience, mainly because of my decision to join the ASU Chinese Language Flagship. As a Flagship member, I have participated in special Flagship classes, weekly tutoring, and a two-month summer study. For my Flagship capstone, I am preparing to study for a year abroad at Tianjin Normal University in China. In addition to Chinese, I am also passionate about English. I am an avid reader, and I especially enjoy books on politics and philosophy. In the future, I hope to travel and teach English in many different countries, in Asia and around the world. I also plan to attend graduate school, and eventually I would like to teach in a university. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and going to KTV with my friends. I am a very patient and relaxed person, and I believe that the best teacher is someone who learns alongside their students.
