About Me

I love tutoring because education is my passion. I have years of experience in tutoring to students of all ages. My teaching philosophy is to review or reteach difficult concepts, practice, and then challenge my students without overwhelming them. I am certified to teach English and have taught English abroad. I am also fluent in Spanish. This experience allows me to tutor a wide range of subjects from reading comprehension and English grammar to AP Spanish. Most recently, I worked in an elementary school doing homework support and am very familiar with K-5th curriculums. This allows me to identify and fill gaps that elementary students might have in any subject including math. I took the ACT in high school and have worked with high schoolers to test prep so I have a lot of experience with the test and know the best test taking methods to help students achieve their goals.
