About Me

I am a chemistry teacher at Manville High School. I taught AP, honors, and regular level chemistry. I am from Nutley, NJ but am now living in Raritan, NJ. My philosophy of teaching is learning by doing. I am able to tutor in most Math, and all Science subjects. My favorite method to teach is one on one, and figuring out how a student processes information allows them to learn the subject material their way. I have tutored a total of 20 different students in high school and college; all of them have improved their test scores. As a teacher of 5 years, I have learned a lot on different teaching methods. Science and math are hard concepts to grasp, but I will make learning them fun and easy. I have always loved science and math, and it just comes second nature to me. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Physical Science and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the College of New Jersey. Please consider me when you choose your future tutor.
