About Me

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science and Minors in Coaching and Earth Science. I am in my sixth year teaching in Texas public schools, and have taught 8th Grade Science and am currently teaching Physics and Integrated Physics and Chemistry. I am available to tutor all secondary science levels, but have the most experience in the Earth Sciences and Physics. I enjoy these subjects because of their direct relationship with the real world. Being able to see how the concepts taught apply to the things I see in nature and all around us has really made learning a life-long passion for me, and I love to help students gain that perspective. I am originally from Colorado but have enjoyed living in Texas for the past 6 years with my wife and two young children. We love to be outside and explore all that Texas has to offer, however, on Sundays I still cheer on my beloved Denver Broncos!
