I have a passion for learning and a joy in helping students to discover that math, science, history and literature are interesting and worth pursuing. My extensive experience tutoring math, science and standardized testing have prepared me for the role of connecting with students and encouraging that more natural instinct for acquiring and assimilating knowledge. I believe confidence in one's abilities is a fundamental tool for instilling interest and achieving success. My love of math and science, especially Calculus and Chemistry, has shown to be infectious and I love getting to share those subjects with students. My degree is a B.A. in Music from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in electrical engineering. I have spent the past five years tutoring students from middle school to college aged.
