- I am a proud graduate of the College of Charleston where I double majored in History and Latin American as well as Caribbean Studies.
About Me
Since graduating, I began my career as a middle school History teacher. For the past six years I have taught 5th-8th grade History in New Orleans and Brooklyn. I am a certified Social Studies teacher in grades 6-12 and my main expertise is in American History. While many people find History boring, I am excellent at making it seem interesting and "alive". My students would tell you that I am unique, funny, and my class is never boring. In my free time I am a folk artist painter who loves to travel, learn new languages (I can speak three), love music and dancing, and my favorite... cooking!
