I am a certified teacher (Integrated Language Arts, 7-12), university adjunct instructor, and professional tutor. I have been teaching and tutoring English, English as a Second Language, SAT/ACT test prep, and college admissions consulting since 2011. I am a recent graduate of the University of Dayton. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Honors with Distinction and a Masters in Engineering at the University of Dayton with a special research focus in recycled plastic 3D printing. I have a strong passion for education and personalized learning, with 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience in STEM education! I'm most passionate about teaching math because I believe learning math is helpful in developing brain function, in the same way that going to the gym is helpful to developing physical fitness. Although it requires effort, the process of learning math should involve the beneficial pain that leads to good results rather than the crippling pain that prevents any further progress that too many math students unfortunately experience.

I am competent to tutor any discipline of mathematics, Geometry is hands-down my favorite by virtue of its visual nature and all the fun, practical applications with which it is associated, followed closely by Algebra I & II.
