I am currently a P1 pharmacy student. I have had numerous opportunities to tutor students of various ages primarily in subjects that pertain to my program of study, especially chemistry. Throughout my years of study, I have come to the realization that only after meticulous examination of all the possible scenarios and exceptions of a particular phenomenon can we recognize patterns that may have facilitated our initial attempt to understand it in the first place. As a tutor, I hope to serve as a guide that aids students in discerning such patterns and integrating concepts to achieve a thorough and holistic understanding of the subject being studied. Besides tutoring, I enjoy playing the piano and cello, biking, and reading.

I'm currently a college freshman. Some of my favorite subjects are philosophy, economics, and physics, but I tend to enjoy learning and teaching most everything, as all subjects are integral to understanding the world. I'm happy to help students in any way they might need, however I specialize in the ACT.

I am a recent graduate of Cornell University, where I received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Over the past several years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences tutoring thermodynamics (my personal favorite), chemistry, and math. I have also tutored in the past for ACT/SAT and other subjects such as history, but I am deeply passionate about science and engineering. I tend to push my students to understand conceptual topics, as opposed to rote or algorithmic learning. In my free time, I love to bake sourdough, learn about history, garden, and recently started biking again.

I am currently a senior at Johns Hopkins studying Biomedical Engineering. I have a lot of experience tutoring in math, physics, chemistry, and thermodynamics. I have also proof-read essays for college applications and english classes as well. Outside of school I like to cook, play basketball, and listen to music.

I am currently an honors undergraduate student at The Ohio State University studying Data Analytics with a focus on Biomedical and Public Health Analysis. My passion for tutoring comes from the belief that learning is supposed to be a fun and enriching process. I hope to help students find their love for learning. My tutoring experience comes from volunteer tutoring as part of National Honors Society in high school and by coaching/teaching the middle school academic challenge team. In my experience tutoring, I find that it is important to adapt to the learning style of each individual student. I tutor a variety of subjects including math ranging from Algebra through Calculus up to Linear Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Statistics. My favorite subject to tutor is any sort of math. In my spare time, I like to play sports like basketball or tennis, play video games, and read.

I am extremely passionate about the subjects I teach, but I understand that students don't all approach learning from the same ability level or viewpoint. Accordingly, I strive to make my lessons fun and appealing to all backgrounds by utilizing examples, where appropriate, from topics that are of interest to each specific student. I use a variety of teaching methods dependent on the specific student I am working with, recognizing that no two students are the same. Physics in particular provides a wonderful avenue for this approach, as problems can be made to fit most sports or hobbies.

I am a rising sophomore at Case Western Reserve University studying engineering. I have taken most high-school level standardized tests, and have scored consistently above the 95th percentile. I have tutored small groups of students throughout high school, and also have experience as a private tutor. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee with my college club team.

I am most interested in tutoring Math (geometry, algebra 1/2/prealgebra, trigonometry), Physics 1 and 2, General Chemistry (Honors, AP, or college level), and the MCAT Foundations of Physical Science and Critical Analysis and Reasoning sections.

I am a graduate of Westlake High School and a student at the University of Michigan who is pursuing an accelerated master's program in computer engineering. Throughout my high school career, I tutored numerous students ranging from freshmen who are taking core classes to seniors who are taking AP classes. Due to this, it allowed me to communicate and learn various methods of teaching that can be understandable to all ages. While I do tutor a diverse set of subjects, I primarily focus on STEM-based ones. I am also passionate about improving standardized test scores like the ACT. The thrill of hearing a student hitting his or her goal is what motivates me to become a better tutor. I truly believe that education is the catalyst to innovation. Whether that innovation is improving life, facilitating jobs, or just making our everyday world a bit better, my contribution to tutoring to benefit our future is what drives me to be part of the education system.

I am passionate about the subject, they may feel that they can tap into that passion. Second, I like to engage the student personally. Education can sometimes feel transactional or even coercive. I want my student to feel that I am working for their benefit, and because I care about them, not because I'm getting paid.

I am especially passionate about presenting a new perspective on algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and linear algebra. In my experience, students have always appreciated my patience and flexibility when approaching challenging topics. I also follow sports closely, and in my spare time I enjoy running, watching movies, and playing games with friends.

I am currently a student at Case Western Reserve University for computer science. In high school, I was a member of the Peer Tutoring and Mentoring Club and enjoy working with students, primarily in math and science. My favorite subject is physics because it combines science with math and is actually applicable to real life. My learning philosophy is to just do practice problems. The more practice, the easier each problem will be. Somebody can spend all day just studying notes, but he or she will learn best by just doing practice problems. Outside of school, I own a website design business and I enjoy to do anything outdoors. I love snow skiing, water skiing, boating, hiking, and fishing.

I'm looking forward to working with you. My degree is in Mechanical Engineering, so I can assist with that (mechanics would be my specialty there). I can definitely assist with math through Calc 1. I can assist with most Physics, and some Chemistry.

As a tutor for 20+ years, I bring ample experience and knowledge. I specialize in standardized testing (MCAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, & more), medical school and pre-med courses, and undergraduate STEM subjects. A former medical school student and Master of Public Health, I opted for what truly brings me joy: tutoring, teaching, and guiding students to lifelong academic success.

I am a rising senior at Duke University. I major in Computer Science and am also getting a minor in Physics. I have had experience tutoring/teaching as a teaching assistant for three classes: Intro to Databases, Electricity and Magnetism (for engineers), and Computer Network Architecture. I have had industry experience in software development as an intern for IBM and a cybersecurity analyst for TIAA. Outside of school/work, I play the piano and train with the Duke Taekwondo Club. I have a strong background in computer science, physics, and math, but I love learning about and helping students with a wide variety of subjects!

I am also adept in tutoring english grammar, language, and literature. There are few things I enjoy more than a true challenge, whether it be physical or mental. I aspire to be a great inventor and hope that my ideas and creations may simplify life as we know it and bring health, comfort, and joy to the masses. My favorite book is "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett and I recommend that everyone read promptly.

I'm an MIT undergrad studying Urban Planning. I loved math in science in school, but know that it can be frustrating and easy to dislike when taught in a way that is difficult to understand, or when it seems useless and pointless to learn. My goal is to get students not only to perform well in these subjects, but to fully comprehend and enjoy them.

I am planning on entering medical school at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the fall. Throughout high school and college, I have fallen in love with tutoring and seeing so many new faces in the process. I especially love to tutor in math, chemistry, MCAT, and chemical engineering topics, and have experience tutoring students of all ages - from elementary school to fellow college students. When I am not tutoring or in school, I am an avid lifter and love to bake with friends!

I'm currently a PhD student in economics at Yale University. I also have a BS in physics and math from Yale. Other subjects I enjoy are history, geography, and philosophy, and I dabble in photography and baking. I enjoy helping people understand tricky concepts and solve challenging problems, academic and otherwise.

I am current master's student pursuing an advanced degree in environmental engineering. I have about 3 years of experience tutoring a standard math and science curricula to students ranging in age from 7-17. I attended college at Washington University in St. Louis receiving a degree in mechanical engineering and energy engineering in 2020. During my time there, I worked as a teaching assistant for several different engineering courses, tutoring students outside of class in the calculus and physics related topics. I am an undergraduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and I have tutored students since my early high school years. I've had experience instructing and guiding a variety of students, from young middle schoolers taking their first steps into the world of computer programming to my own peers struggling with their calculus exams. Over the past year alone, I've worked with over 30 students, spending several hours each day to help them stay up to speed on their schoolwork. I specialize in many areas of math as well as computer science, biology and physics. When tutoring students, I draw on my own experience with learning the material to identify and address the obstacles they face. I'm a rising junior at Brown University studying biomedical engineering. I have lots of experience in middle school through college level instruction in STEM and SAT/ACT prep. My goal is to provide a fun and productive learning environment by only teaching subjects that I am passionate about.

I am really passionate about all the subjects that I teach and my goal with tutoring is to inspire my students to feel the same passion. I love tutoring because I love being able to make a positive difference in my students lives.

I am currently working for a tutoring service called Princeton Tutoring as an independent contractor. As a member of their tutoring base, I instruct students in Math, Physics, AP Exams and most often, the SAT. I have obtained outstanding scores and am confident I can convey instruction and techniques that have worked for me. I have a solid foundation in the Spanish language and am completely fluent in German and Russian.

I am a freshman Computer Science major enrolled in the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. I have a passion for teaching students, and I am experienced with having to give one-on-one guidance in teaching many concepts. Tutoring is very rewarding for me because I am driven to help others and give whatever knowledge I have gained over the years in every field. I also have experience dealing with situations in which students are not quickly or readily grasping concepts, and I have developed the patience to handle these situations. Teaching is just as rewarding for the student as it is for me, because I am thrilled when I see others achieve, and I would love to be part of the process.
