I am the first person in my family to be born in the United States. My entire family are immigrants and it was only recently that my last remaining family members came over from China. This meant that growing up I was the eldest of all the children in my family. Being an only child myself, I had a lot of responsibility to take care and help raise my cousins who are all younger. My interest and experience in tutoring comes from helping my cousins through school.

I am very patient, a good communicator and can usually identify why an individual is struggling and help them overcome those obstacles with simple techniques. I have worked with a very wide range of students, ranging from my own son starting in Kindergarten and have taught individuals as old as 82 years old.

I'm from China, and currently working in a hedge fund in Norwalk, CT. I enjoy tutoring in Math and Chinese. I have been teaching in APEX as a SAT math tutor. I'm a retired professor who taught statistics for many years. To be a good citizen these days, you have to know a little statistics, because many people will try to convince you of many things with statistics, and you need to be able to separate the truth from the lies.

I am an undergraduate business student at Babson College. For years, I have tutored a variety of subjects from writing to accounting. In high school, I participated in volunteer tutoring through the National Honors Society. Even other involvements, such as coaching the debate team, taught me how to convey information and reach understanding with others. As a college student, I am paid to tutor Accounting and teach entrepreneurship and often find myself running study groups among peers.
