Spanish Tutoring review by Stephanie in Tampa, FL
On our last lesson the student and I went over vocabulary words related to Hospitals and traveling words. We practiced each word in a sentence, and the student was able to pronounce each word correctly and identify them through drawings. After that activity, we went over the formation of adverbs in Spanish. I explained to the student that most Spanish adverbs are formed by adding (mente) the equivalent of the English (ly) to the adjective. For example, Especial(special)- especialmente(especially). Additionally, I explained her that adjectives ending in (o) change the (o) to (a) before adding (mente)..ex. lento(lentamente). The student worked on forming various adverbs in Spanish. Finally the student and I went over some other verbs related to traveling experiences. She worked on conjugated each verb and the correct subject pronouns in Spanish.
