Why I Enjoy Learning More Now by Rayhan - November 2025 Scholarship Essay

Technology has made my classroom experience much better, and I feel more interested in lessons now than before. When my teachers use videos, games, and digital boards, I stay more focused and understand the work more clearly. These tools make learning feel more alive, and I notice that I enjoy class more because of them.

One thing that helps me a lot is watching videos in class. When a teacher explains something only by talking, I sometimes find it hard to imagine what they mean. But when we watch a short video, everything becomes easier to understand. For example, in science, seeing how an experiment works makes the lesson feel real. I feel like I remember things better this way, and it makes me more confident when we have homework or tests.

Another thing I really like is using interactive quizzes like Kahoot. These quizzes feel like a fun game, but I am learning at the same time. I like trying to answer questions fast and seeing how well I do. Even if I make mistakes, it helps me learn the right answer. These activities make class more exciting, and I notice the whole class becomes more active when we use them.

Digital whiteboards also make a big difference. My teachers can write, draw pictures, or show slides all in one place. It makes the lesson flow smoothly, and it is easier for me to follow along. Sometimes we even get to join in by writing answers on the board or through our devices. This makes me feel more involved in the lesson instead of just sitting and listening.

With all these tools, I feel like I learn better and pay more attention. I look forward to lessons because I know they will be interactive and not boring. Technology makes it easier for me to understand the work, stay focused, and participate in class. Because of this, I feel more confident and more excited about learning.
