In most schools, there are Chromebooks available to everyone for free. Some teachers decide to give the assignments online, while some like to give them on paper, and others just do both. For me, I like to do assignments on my Chromebook for various reasons.
Technology has positively impacted my classroom experience because it helps me and many other people in 3 main ways. The first reason is that it helps me with my wrist cramps. For me, my wrists are extremely weak, so when I'm writing with my pencil for a long time, either my wrist or forearms like to start cramping up. I believe some other people face the same issues as me, so for Chromebooks to exist and help me not have to think about the wrist pain, it really helps me stay on track and focused on my assignments. Also, typing on my keyboard is way easier than writing. Sometimes, teachers won't be able to read a student's handwriting and will sometimes give them a bad grade just because they don't understand some words. It also makes it easier for students to have better grammar.ar and improve spelling.
The second reason is that on Chromebooks, it's easier for students to work together on assignments or school projects. Most students like to work together with their friends and have fun with their friends while their both working on the same assignment together. Which I completely understand because most students like to work together to have more fun, and also try to help each other if they lose focus. Also, assignments on Chromebooks help students worry less about due dates, especially because it's harder to lose online documents, and you have time at home to work on them.
My third point is that typing on Chromebooks is more comfortable than writing on paper. For most people, writing on paper hurts the neck and your back because there really is only one position to write in, which is on your desk, and if you wanted to write a different way, you would have had to have something behind the paper. For Chromebooks, it's actually more comfortable to type because you can choose just about any position you can type in, whether it's lying down, standing up, or sitting down; you can type in any position that's comfortable for you.
