Technology might just be my personal assistant. It plays an important role in my life because it helps me stay organized. While there are a lot of benefits to technology, I would consider its most important benefit to be its ability to help me stay coordinated in the classroom. Whether I am tracking my homework assignments, scheduling meetings, or planning personal goals, technology provides me with the tools I need to stay on top of my studies. Without access to technology, I would feel overwhelmed by all the different tasks I have to manage on a daily basis.
One of the ways that technology helps me stay organized is through digital task lists and calendars. I can use my phone or computer to see what school assignments I have coming up. Seeing an agenda for the month allows me to pace myself and work ahead when needed, the ticket to my success as a student. These tools send reminders whenever I have an important deadline or meeting coming up. Technology helps me manage my time effectively and avoid "deadline" stress.
Another ability of technology that allows me to thrive in classroom settings is the option to take notes on my laptop. Rather than carrying around an endless stack of notebooks that are hardly organized at all, technology allows me to store my organized notes all in one place. This makes studying and completing projects much easier because I can access my notes whenever I need them.
