In today’s ever-changing environment, my school has fully embraced technology. While many people remain opposed to AI, our institution has chosen not to repeat the mistakes of the past. Previously, students were told not to use Wikipedia, Google, or even calculators. These tools later became essential to learning and daily life. My school has decided to get ahead of emerging technology, so its graduates can begin their careers with an edge rather than a learning curve. From day one, we are encouraged to use AI tools responsibly and creatively. Our assignments are designed to challenge us to navigate these tools effectively, from locating dozens of research sources to designing full advertising campaigns for new products at remarkable speeds.

The various types of AI have proven to be game changing for productivity, and our coursework has evolved to match that pace. Tasks that once took hours now take minutes; projects that used to take months are now completed in weeks, sometimes just one. My team, working online from across the country and from different disciplines, collaborated seamlessly on projects that might have seemed impossible only a year ago. Together, we created a product that was fully reskinned to capitalize on its market potential, incorporating its design specifications and unique features to make it stand out. We even composed a theme song for the commercial simply because we had extra time, and that was only week one.

By week two, we were developing ad campaigns, collecting feedback, and editing video content. We entered the testing phase to verify the program’s code and assess whether its features could become reality. We also produced a comprehensive report analyzing our target demographic and ad placement strategy. This kind of lightning fast turnaround showcases the power of technology to enable effortless collaboration and instant connectivity. It felt as though we had unlimited resources, and for that, we can only thank our school for preparing us to thrive in this new AI-intensive world.
