Changes I hope to see in education in the next 10 years? To some that can be a tricky question, but to me that is an easy question. In the next 10 years I hope to see improvement in our older classes. The influence these older classes have on the younger classes is phenomenal. Every young student you see listens to an upperclassman. It could be at a game when someone older tells the younger kids to watch the game and not mess around. Usually they will listen to an upperclassman. I also think that if the older classes see that the younger kids watch every move they take. They will realize that they need to improve, and watch what they do in front of younger classes.
Another change I hope to see happen is better instructions from some teachers. Most people think that the students are the only thing that needs improvement and to change, but I think that the teachers all need to change. The things teachers should be changing are some pretty simple changes like: giving better instructions, having a more inclusive classroom, and prioritizing mental health. I know that most teachers want to give out homework, and I think it's good that we get homework,but the impact homework can have on others sometimes messes with their mental health, so I think teachers need to recognize the students that it does have a take on.
Focus on career paths with all ages, try getting the younger classes out there and trying all career paths they could take, with me saying this i'm pointing out that, if i had a class or even a program that helped me pick out my career path i would be doing better and being more focused with school, but with that being said i'm unfocused in school because i have adults or even friends that ask me what i want to do in the future but i have no answer, so it stresses me out. If there was a class that focused on this problem. The younger classes wouldn’t have to stress about the question “what are you gonna do when you graduate?
So with the question 'What changes in education do I hope to see over the next 10 years?’ I hope to see improvement in older classes, better instructions from teachers,a better focus on mental health, and a really good focus on career choices. There are other things that should be changed but for now those are my main ones that should be changed soon.
