A Year With Purpose by Alex - August 2025 Scholarship Essay

In this upcoming school year, my primary aspiration is to continue challenging myself academically through rigorous schedule that includes AP Chemistry/ College General Chemistry II, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and several college- level courses. My goal is not only to excel in these subjects but also to deepen my understanding and love of mathematics.

Another important aspiration is to grow as a leader and mentor. As a teaching assistant and tutors I want to expand my impact by helping others like students gain more confidence in mathematics. I believe that teaching is one of the most effective ways to solidify one's own knowledge and it also allows me to contribute to the academic success of my peers. Additionally I plan to be active in school clubs and activities that align with not only my academic but also my personal interests, building strong relationships with others who share my passions.

What motivates me is my passion for mathematics I want to succeed so I can help other students to do better and excel in that subject. I am inspired to become a mathematics Professor and I know that developing advanced skills now will better prepare me for the challenges ahead.
