I recently graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Biology with minors in Bioethics and Medical Pharmacology. I have a passion for teaching and love fun discussion-based classes.

I am currently a full-time faculty member of the Biological and Physical Sciences department at Columbus State Community College where I teach Anatomy and Physiology as well as basic human biology courses. In addition to my academia, I am also a practicing chiropractic physician. My two professions allow me to have a well-rounded view and philosophy on teaching that encompasses clinical relevance of basic science classes. I hope to share my knowledge and skills when it comes to studying, preparing, and ultimately completing your courses successfully!

I am a mixed media artist who loves to teach. I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA. My passion is inspiring others to be themselves and helping people express themselves specifically through visual art. I have both experience in tutoring and teaching all-age leveled art classes. I specifically love teaching painting and collaging but I am very experimental in my teaching methods. I encourage all students to try something new at least once in their creative practice. I can't wait to share my skills and help build the confidence in those who want to delve in to the Arts!

My favorite subject to tutor is math because I was not originally a strong math student and I had to work very hard at it to be successful. Therefore, I know what it's like to struggle in math and how to overcome issues that students have, because I likely had them myself. In my spare time I enjoy training for NPC competitions, knitting, and playing the flute.

I graduated from OSU in 2015 with Cum Laude honors for my BA in Linguistics. Now I am enrolled as a part-time student at CSCC for a two-year degree in Environmental Science, Safety, and Health. Though I would prefer online tutoring, I'm willing to meet at CSCC or OSU if you are in Columbus!

I am a high school math teacher with a passion for demonstrating the practical use of math outside of the classroom. I graduated nursing school (BSN) in 2014 from Prairie View A&M University, passed NCLEX on my 1st attempt, and worked as a Registered Nurse for 2.5 years as an OR nurse and a Med-Surg nurse. I recently graduated from medical school (MD) and currently applying to go into residency. I passed both USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2 on 1st attempt.I've tutored multiple times with other companies while in undergrad and medical school. Effortlessly teaching complex subjects and navigating multiple-choice questions for students is my niche.

I have a graduate degree and a lot of experience in Chemistry. In addition, I have minored in Physics during my undergraduate studies. I have taught undergraduate Chemistry classes for 5 years. I enjoy helping students learn chemistry and Physics. I teach the concept of Science (Chemistry, Physics)and make students practice problems for new ideas and skills. Finally, I teach students the application of the ideas of Science to the real world.

I have been teaching professionally for about three years. Nothing brings me greater pleasure than watching a student progress and achieving goals, no matter how big or small. I use my personal experience as a learner of language and think from the student's perspective when designing lessons. No two students are the same, and I'm constantly modifying materials that I have to meet the student's learning needs.My love for language sprouted when I started learning a language that wasn't dead. Up to freshman year in college, I had only studied Latin and hadn't experienced applying language beyond translation and reading. I majored in Mandarin, minored in Turkish and have been exploring other languages ever since. Learning language became the segue for teaching it when I went to Taiwan for work and academics. Upon returning to the USA, I got a job with a company that specializes in intensive English. That opportunity equipped me with a dense amount of experience in teaching all aspects of language to a spectrum of students in terms of proficiency and academic ability.Beyond work, I am a yogi, dancer, athlete, reader, and culinary explorer. I appreciate all forms of dance, especially tango, salsa, hip hop, and belly dancing. I train Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo regularly and enjoy basketball and soccer when I have the chance. I believe learning is a journey without an end and strive to expand my horizons through reading about health, anatomy, classical literature and a slew of other subjects.
