I am a graduate of California State University Northridge. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics as well as a Teaching Credential in Mathematics. I enjoy mathematics and teaching mathematics. I use a combination of discovery and example based teaching in my classroom, and I apply similar teaching practices to tutoring. I try to connect mathematics to real-world examples and scenarios, which helps students see the importance and relevance of mathematics in their daily lives.

I am currently attending California Institute of the Arts. I am studying art, as well as theatre and art management. Eventually, I hope to attend grad school for library science. My favorite subject to tutor in is math. I believe in life-long education, and I hope to impart that to the students I meet. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, sewing, and hiking.
