I am a Biology major from Southwestern University. I have always loved studying biology because I love to understand how life works; whether it be a cell, human body, or an ecosystem. My goal as a tutor is to help the student achieve their academic goals and to help the student become a better questioner. I know that every student learns differently, and I hope to help each student figure out their best studying techniques in order to help them achieve their academic goals.

I have completed a BS in Retail Management and a BA in Languages and Cultures. Additionally, I have completed an MA in Archaeology of the Classical Mediterranean at the University of Sheffield in the UK. My passion is in Roman Archaeology and have dug at Roman sites in England and Italy. During my BA I also found a passion in Latin. It gave me a challenge I was looking for and I love to beat it. My mission as a tutor is to help students to fully comprehend, memorize, and be as successful in Latin as they possibly can. I am extremely patient and will do whatever it takes to help you become better at the language.

I also obtained a Certificatein education to be able to teach. After college, I traveled a lot (Australia, Japan, Ireland, France) andtaught core curriculum subjects at different private schools in Montreal for 5 years. Since my relocationin Texas, I have worked as a French Translator for different companies throughout the Dallas area. But Imissed teaching terribly and want to get back to my roots.French language is my passion and I always worked in French. As a French tutor I am committed to passalong this passion. With me you will learn how to converse in French in everyday situations (restaurant,directions, call a cab, greetings etc.) I am a firm believer that to be able to learn or to master a newlanguage you need to be exposed to the culture, to hear the language and to have no choice than tospeak the language.In my teaching, I use a lot of cultural tools to expose the students to the French culture (music, videos,books, magazines, newspapers, etc.) I can teach French at all levels from beginner to advanced and fromconversation skills to written skills (grammar). I am a graduate of Texas A&M University where I received my Master's in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. I also hold a Bachelors in Arts for Sociology and in Spanish. Through my graduate program, I received my teacher certification in the state of Texas for teaching Spanish Early Childhood-12 Grade, English as a Second Language, and English Language Arts and Reading 6-8. In the past, I have taught Spanish as a world language to students in grades 9 - 12. I also worked as an ESL teacher to students in grades 6 - 8 where I helped English language learners adjust to life in the United States and prepare them for success in all core academic subjects for two years. In 2021, I lived in Spain and taught English to students K-6. Since 2022 I have started teaching 8th grade English Language Arts. I have many years of experience tutoring students at the secondary level for English, Spanish, French, and various social studies subjects including Texas History, U.S. History, World History, Sociology, and Psychology.

I gradually developed an interest in tutoring.In 2008, I was selected to be a translator serving Beijing Olympic Games. I had an honor to share Chinese language and culture to American colleagues from Aramark. One year later, I worked in an international hotel and met people from all over the world. I love working with people!I was offered a full-tuition scholarship in an MBA program in the U.S because of my outstanding GMAT score. I scored 720 out of 800 after one month self-study, without any sort of training.As you can see from my personal experience, I constantly raise my own bar and will be happy to help you do so!
