Careers in Administration
After College, Annie moved to Los Angeles to work in the Entertainment Business, where her communication and analytic skills opened doors in Corporate Administration and Data Management, working for the major entertainment studios including Netflix, NBCUniversal, and Warner Brothers Discovery. The Executive Skills Annie acquired in her 12 years working in Hollywood have enabled her to teach students the necessary organization and communication protocols to be successful in administrative jobs. Annie teaches students how to interact with managers, employ basic project management principles, and deliver results for businesses. Once you have basic business knowledge and reasoning, you can succeed in most any setting!

Creative Filmmaking
Throughout her life, Annie has been producing Independent Film as a writer, director, producer, and cinematographer. She has worked with a wide variety of formats, from 16mm Film to Digital Video for Social Media. Annie has worked in film finance, packaging, and sales at ICM Partners talent agency (now part of CAA) and in the literary department at Innovative Artists agency. She has worked in film acquisitions, international marketing, public relations, and distribution at Solstice Studios.

Disability Support
From Academics to Business to Creative, Annie has woven a career path using her Mathematic and Literary skills, finding fulfilling work while playing to her strengths in Audio-Visual and Data domains, and leveraging technology to supplement and support her more challenging areas. As a Straight-A Student throughout her life, Annie privately struggled with Reading Comprehension and Fluency. When she was finally diagnosed with Dyslexia and memory-related learning disabilities, at age 16, the years of struggle suddenly made sense. This information launched Annie into a path of Remedial Reading training, and a journey of navigating Institutional Accommodations and a life-long utilization of widely available Assistive Technology. Annie helps students on their journey with learning disabilities, and empowers students to pivot and persevere, no matter the challenge. Our minds are built to think through and resolve obstacles.
