I am a Reading and Writing teacher that is passionate about teaching young minds. The world becomes more joyful (and easier :-) when you are a strong reader and writer.

I have several years of experience as a Classroom English & History Teacher, Reading Specialist, and Reading & Writing Tutor.

I received my Bachelors of Art degree in History and Literature from the University of Texas. I have completed Masters of Fine Arts course work in Poetry and Screenwriting.

I tutor students in grades 1st through 8th in the areas of:
Reading Comprehension
Writing Composition

I always aim to make each tutoring session fun just as much as it is empowering for young learners.

I take the approach of being a student's guide when we work together to help them meet their academic goals :-)
