About Me

I am a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. Most of my nursing career was spent at Children's Hospital in Wisconsin...I love kids and I'm passionate about helping children and families reach their highest potential. One position I held while working at Children's was as a school nurse at high-risk areas of Milwaukee, WI where I taught health and wellness classes to students, teachers and parents. I also volunteered for many years as a tutor at several Milwaukee schools. I think reading is probably my favorite subject to tutor because it opens up so many new worlds for students, and it's such an important building block for success in all other classes.
