I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University, MA. I received a BA in English and double minored in Education and Psychology. Since graduation I have worked as a full time classroom English teacher for 6 years. I absolutely love reading and writing, so tutoring in those subjects is my strength.
I thoroughly believe that effective communication stems from our ability to read and write. Improving literacy levels does improve quality of life. And I impart those abilities to my students.

In my spare time, I can be found climbing, weightlifting, or off on an adventure with my two rescue dogs. I also draw/paint and love projects where I get to create and learn. I am very energetic and genuinely believe teaching is a mutual experience: I have to be willing to learn how to work with each student, not just know how to teach the content.
